Through our Content
Search option, it is possible to search the entire
content of documents, both scanned documents in .TIF
format, and electronic documents such as Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail and PDF documents, making
it possible to find documents even though their
indexes do not include the search criteria entered.
Content Search performs a background OCR (Optical
Character Recognition) task on the loaded documents,
making it possible to scan or upload documents
without having to worry about performing an OCR
process on the scanner or the end user’s machine.

Backup Interface: |

Backup Interface
performs selective back-ups of the information in
DocuManager
onto removable optical media such as CDs and DVDs.
These backups are self-sufficient, so that an
administrator could select cabinets and folders to
be backed up and then distribute the CDs or DVDs to
end user’s for offline viewing, since they do not
require access to the DocuManager server or the
network.
These back-ups represent a great way to distribute
information, or to get copies of information to
users on the move. Also, in case of failure to the
DocuManager
server, these backups can help restore the system
quickly and easily.

Office Add-in is an application that once installed
creates a direct connection between Microsoft Office
Products like Word and Outlook and
DocuManager.
Through the add-in any office Application can
retrieve and store documents in
DocuManager
directly, without having to leave the application.
Office Add-in allows the end user to view the entire
document structure from directly inside the Office
Application, and exposes all the functionality of
DocuManager
(indexing, searching, etc.) to the end-user from
inside their favorite Office tool.

module was designed to allow for the fastest and
most efficient scanning of batches of documents.
Through AIM it is possible to scan and index
hundreds of documents very quickly, and even allows
for connections to databases or spreadsheets to
acquire indexes for the documents. AIM also supports
scanning workflows, so that processes involving
document scanning, indexing and quality control can
be performed in tandem.
AIM also supports OCR and MICR (magnetic ink)
recognition for index captures.
